Copley Place
Copley Place is one of the most exclusive malls in Boston, owned by Simon Property Group. It is situated in the historic area of Back Bay and it is actually part of a larger complex which contains offices and hotels.
There are over 100 shops and services in this mall, with Tiffany & Co, Iridesse Pearls, Barneys New York, Jimmy Choo, Tourneau, Salvatore Ferragamo, Porsche Design, David Yurman, Armani Exchange, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss Orange, Christian Dior and Burberry being the most important. The anchors are Neiman Marcus Barneys and New York. There are also only 3 full-service restaurants. The mall is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The architecture of this mall is also interesting. The mall is connected through a skybridge to the Shops at Prudential Center and through a tunnel to the Back Bay MBTA station.
This is clearly not a family-oriented mall, or an entertainment-oriented one. This upscale, exclusive mall is more popular among those who love glamour and posh retailers. Parking facilities consist of a garage available 24 hours a day. The fees vary from $6 for half an hour to $32 for a whole day.
The main attractions of the area include Prudential Center Skywalk Observatory, the Public Garden, the Museum of Fine Arts, Harriet Tubman’s House and many other.
